Returning Favourites at the Eco-Fair

One of the nicest things about the Liberty Village Eco-Fair is seeing familiar faces return. It means last year’s connections turned into something lasting, and that the fair continues to bring together people and organizations who care about creativity, repair, sustainability, and community.

This year, we’re happy to welcome back Splash on Earth, Stroller Dr, and Bliss By Bike as returning collaborators for the June 6, 2026 Eco-Fair.

Splash on Earth

If you joined us last year, you may remember how much fun the kids, and kids at heart, had with Splash on Earth. Their activities brought colour, creativity, and playful energy to the fair, while also opening the door to bigger conversations about waste and the environment.

Splash on Earth describes its work as turning food waste into “eco-fun-action.” Their approach is all about making environmental learning fun and accessible, while helping people connect food waste to biodiversity loss and climate change. Through community-based activities, they show that sustainability can be creative, hands-on, and something we learn together.

Based on the information you gathered, Splash on Earth has hosted 23 events, engaged 3,200+ participants, and helped divert 410 kg of food waste. We’re so glad to have them back bringing that same spirit to this year’s fair.

Stroller Dr

Stroller Dr is one of those collaborators that makes the Eco-Fair feel especially practical for families. Their work is rooted in a simple but important idea: repair is often the greener choice.

Many stroller issues come down to rusted or worn metal parts, even when the plastic components are still in good condition. By repairing and replacing only what is needed, Stroller Dr helps divert waste from landfill, save families money, and keep everyday essentials in use longer. Their services include tune-ups, wheel and brake repairs, cleaning, and more. The business is run by Kim, a mom of three with a background in engineering, who began this work after repairing her own stroller and realizing how much useful life was still left in it.

That mix of practicality, repair, and everyday sustainability makes Stroller Dr such a natural fit for the fair.

Bliss By Bike

We’re also excited to welcome back Bliss By Bike. Keeping bikes in good working order is one of those small actions that can have a big ripple effect. It supports active transportation, helps people keep using what they already have, and makes it easier to choose lower-impact ways of getting around.

Bliss By Bike is a Toronto bike repair business focused on helping people keep their bikes in good working order through tune-ups and repair services. Their work supports active transportation, extends the life of existing bikes, and makes it easier for people to choose lower-impact ways of getting around.

We’re happy to have them back as part of this year’s Eco-Fair and to continue making repair and reuse part of the community experience.
